Yes, the DF 2.1 looks a little different. Players often get teased about it for the first few holes – then, as putts keep dropping, they spend the rest of the round explaining to their playing partners why it works so well.
Founder Bill Presse – a former mini-tour player – wanted a putter that simplified the stroke as much as possible and could always be trusted to stay square; that led him to invent Lie Angle Balance. The distinctive shape of the DF 2.1 was developed to maximize stability on off-center hits.
Custom version: built to your specifications – choose the grip, alignment, shaft and head; length and lie angle are calculated from your stroke. LionGolf advises on the configuration through its Putter fitting service.
Like every L.A.B. putter, it is Lie Angle Balanced to your stroke – eliminating torque so the face naturally stays square, making it easier to repeat a consistent stroke with less effort.
